Damsonfield Library - NFTS Grad Comedy Short

  • This comedy short, an extract from a pilot written by Alex Bertulis-Fernandes, is a mockumentary set in a struggling community-run library. Desperate to raise funds to keep the library open, the staff host quirky events. In this scene, one employee takes the stage to perform an awkward, cringe-worthy poem that leaves the audience in disbelief and quiet horror.

The writer wanted the credits to be written on library cards, which led me to suggest having them stack on top of each other in a pile. You can see the result below!

The short was part of the 2024 official selection at the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards and I’m so happy to have played a part in making the film.

    Enjoy!
